The Ligum Fight Gear Gum Guard is an essential product which helps protect against injury to teeth, jaw, joint, lips & gums during combat sports.
Made from an acrylic plastic material, the gum guard provides a secure and comfortable fit to match your unique bite pattern, ensuring full protective coverage.
Simply boil and bite into the gum guard to protect your mouth, teeth and gums. Clean with toothpaste and water after use and store your gum guard in its Ligum Fight Gear carrying case.
Ligum Fight Gear Gum Guard Fitting Instructions
- Boil water
- Pour hot water into a mug
- Submerge Mouth guard for 30-90 seconds
- Remove with a utensil and let cool until comfortable
- Adjust to the right position in front of a mirror
- Bite down firmly. Apply even pressure with fingers and tongue
- Hold for 30 seconds to ensure it conforms to your teeth
- Carefully remove mouth guard
- Hold under cold running water to cool completely
- Test fit to make sure it fits properly
Repeat steps 1-10 if your mouth guard doesn’t fit properly.

Shipping Costs
We offer a flat rate shipping charge of R149 country wide (South Africa) for orders under R500, a discounted rate of R99 country wide (South Africa) for orders above R500, but under R1500.
Free Shipping
No one likes shipping charges, and we have a solution! We offer free shipping to our retail and wholesale customers on minimum order amounts. Retail customers receive free shipping on orders over the amount of R1500 incl. VAT before shipping charges are applicable.
