Returns & Exchanges Policy
General Return & Exchange Guidelines
If you wish to return an item, it must be in its original packaging and in a clean, unworn, unwashed, and unused condition with all tags attached.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded due to hygiene reasons:
• Socks
• Gum guards
• Gift cards
Clothing Warranty (3 Months - Discolouration Only)
All clothing items come with a 3-month warranty covering significant discolouration only. If a clothing item experiences excessive fading within this period, it will be replaced with an identical item (if available) or another clothing item of the same value.
• This warranty does not cover: Normal wear and tear, damage from improper care, or any other form of deterioration.
6-Month Warranty
Covers factory defects only. Excludes general wear and tear, product misuse, improper servicing, or installation by a non-approved Ligum Brands service provider.
Return Process
Option 1: Return or Exchange at Showroom
You may return or exchange an item at our showroom:

Bring your digital invoice for processing.
Option 2: Log a Return or Exchange via Email
1. Email Us: Contact info@ligumfightgear.com with your order details and reason for return/exchange.
2. Pack the Item Securely: Ensure it’s in original condition with tags attached.
3. Courier Pickup: We will email you a waybill. The courier will provide a plastic shipping bag at pickup. Pickup dates are booked, but exact times cannot be guaranteed.
4. Processing & Credit:
• Upon receiving the item, we will inspect it within 1-4 business days.
• If approved, we will process the exchange or issue a store credit for the item value.
• Store credits are issued as Ligum Fight Gear vouchers (shipping costs are non-refundable).
• Refunds for showroom returns are only processed via credit card refunds. Debit card transactions can only be refunded via a gift card.
Exchange Policy
Online Orders – One Free Exchange
• One free exchange per order (shipping covered).
• Subsequent exchanges: R80.00 one-way shipping fee applies.
• International orders: The customer covers shipping costs and any relevant duties.
Sale Items
• Can only be exchanged for another size or a gift card.
• A R100 shipping fee applies for courier pickup and drop-off.
• Limited edition items may not be exchangeable due to stock limitations.
Product Replacement Policy
Damaged or Incorrect Products
If you receive a damaged or incorrect product, Ligum Fight Gear will exchange it for a new one at no additional cost, provided:
• The item is returned in its original packaging with tags attached.
• It has not been used or worn.
If the item has been used, worn, or altered in any way, the exchange policy becomes void.
Warranty Claims (6 Months - Factory Faults Only)
If a factory defect is identified within 6 months of purchase, Ligum Fight Gear will replace the item upon inspection and approval.
• Claims must be submitted via email to info@ligumfightgear.com with proof of purchase and clear defect images.
• If a defect claim is not approved, the item will be returned to the customer.
Exclusions from Warranty Coverage
The following are not considered defects and do not qualify for returns or replacements:
• Normal wear and tear
• Damage due to negligence, misuse, or incorrect usage
• Damage from failure to follow care instructions
• Unauthorised modifications or alterations
• Product specifications that were accurately described but do not meet personal preference
Final Notes
• All return and exchange requests must be submitted within 30 days of receiving the order.
• Warranty claims for factory defects are valid for 6 months from purchase.
• Ligum Fight Gear reserves the right to inspect and approve or deny any return, exchange, or warranty claim based on product condition and policy terms.
