The Commercial Gym Floor Tile Mats - Coated Easy Clip Install is specified for commercial training facilities requiring durable rubber flooring with installation flexibility, impact attenuation, and long-term dimensional stability.

Unlike conventional gym flooring systems that rely exclusively on adhesive bonding, the 3.5cm Commercial Gym Floor Tile Mats incorporate integrated connector channels that allow adjacent tiles to be mechanically joined using compatible connectors. This creates a stable and aligned flooring surface without requiring permanent attachment to the subfloor.

The connector-based installation method simplifies floor expansion, replacement, relocation, and maintenance while reducing installation time. Facilities can install large training areas without committing to a permanent glue-down system. For installations requiring permanent fixation, polyurethane-compatible flooring adhesive may also be used.

Manufactured from high-density SBR rubber bonded with polyurethane binder technology, the tiles are designed to withstand repeated loading from strength equipment, free weights, conditioning activities, and combat sports training. The dense rubber construction provides controlled impact attenuation while maintaining surface stability under dynamic athlete movement and stationary equipment loads.

The hygiene-coated surface reduces porosity and moisture absorption, supporting routine cleaning and maintenance protocols in commercial environments. The coating assists in maintaining surface cleanliness while preserving the durability characteristics of the underlying rubber compound.

New rubber tiles may produce a noticeable odour after unpacking. This reduces as the material airs. Before installation, place the tiles in a well-ventilated area and wipe the surface with a damp cloth and mild, rubber-safe cleaner.

Gaps can develop when tiles are installed on uneven flooring, positioned incorrectly or affected by temperature-driven expansion and contraction. Install on a clean, flat and dry surface, allow the tiles to acclimatise to room temperature, and maintain a small perimeter expansion gap.

Connector clips require clear holes and correct tile alignment. Remove debris before installation, insert each clip halfway into the first tile, then align the adjoining tile with the exposed connectors. Use a rubber mallet to seat the tiles together without applying excessive force.

The textured training surface provides consistent traction during lifting, footwork drills, combat sports movement, conditioning circuits, and functional training. A structured underside increases friction against the subfloor, assisting in limiting unintended tile movement during use.

Connector compatibility applies to 2cm and 3.5cm variants ONLY. Due to reduced material thickness, 1.5cm tiles are not compatible with connector systems.
