Head Protector -Technical MMA and CQ - Clear Full Face Shield & Protection

The Ligum Fight Gear Head Guard face shield is designed for controlled, light-contact martial arts sparring where conventional open-face headgear does not provide sufficient facial coverage. The construction combines high-density EVA foam with a PU-finished exterior and a clear injection-moulded face shield, creating an enclosed training system without unnecessarily restricting forward visibility.

The padded shell extends across the top, sides and rear of the head. High-density EVA provides the primary cushioning layer, while the PU exterior creates a durable surface suited to repeated training use. Padded ear openings maintain coverage around the sides of the head without closing off the ears completely, allowing the athlete to retain greater awareness during drills and sparring.

A clear injection-moulded visor covers the front of the face and maintains a direct line of sight to an opponent. Ventilation openings positioned across the lower section of the shield allow air to move through the head guard during training. The visor is also offset from the chin, creating additional space beneath the mask for airflow. This ventilation layout helps manage heat build-up and reduces the conditions that contribute to visor fogging.

The rear hook-and-loop closure allows the head guard to be secured and adjusted around the athlete's head. Internal padding supports a stable fit during movement, helping limit unnecessary shifting while striking, defending or changing position.This enclosed configuration is suited to technical martial arts formats where controlled facial contact forms part of sparring. 

The Full-Face Prospec Head Guard is specifically intended for controlled, light-contact sparring. It is not designed for unrestricted full-contact competition, weapon strikes or weapons training. The face shield should not be treated as a substitute for appropriate contact control, training supervision or discipline-specific safety procedures.

For athletes who require more coverage than an open-face head guard, the Ligum Fight Gear Full-Face Prospec Head Guard combines EVA padding, a rigid transparent visor and integrated ventilation in a focused training design.
