The Ligum Fight Gear Tatami Interlocking EVA Foam Mats provide a stable, cushioned flooring system for grappling, martial arts and functional training spaces. Designed for Judo, Jiu-Jitsu, Aikido, Hapkido and related disciplines, each mat combines a textured training surface with an impact-cushioning EVA foam structure.

The 100cm × 100cm format creates a predictable one-square-metre coverage area per mat, simplifying layout planning for home gyms, training studios and recreational facilities. Interlocking edges connect each section to the surrounding mats, helping create a continuous surface while allowing the training area to be expanded, reduced or reconfigured as required.

A textured tatami-style finish improves surface traction during stance changes, footwork, transitions and controlled grappling exchanges. The foam construction provides a firm base for movement while adding cushioning beneath athletes during groundwork, throws and takedown drills.

The reversible two-colour design allows either side to be used as the visible surface. This provides greater control over the appearance and layout of the training area and can also be used to create borders, zones or designated practice sections.

Two thickness options are available. The 20mm mat provides a lower-profile surface for general martial arts, technical grappling and multipurpose training areas. The 40mm version adds greater foam depth for environments where increased cushioning is required. The correct thickness should be selected according to the discipline, training intensity and facility requirements.

The closed-cell EVA foam construction is water resistant and easier to maintain than permanently installed flooring. Individual sections can be removed for cleaning, storage or replacement without dismantling the complete area.

Each pack includes four edging strips for a cleaner perimeter finish. The edging attaches to the exposed interlocking sides of the mat, helping create a straighter transition at the boundary of the training surface.
