The outer shell is constructed from R-Tech Anti-Rip Maya Hide leather with a polyurethane-coated surface. This material combination provides a durable, abrasion-resistant exterior suited to repeated contact during sparring, technical drills, and partner work.

Its contoured structure follows the natural shape of the head to maintain close, stable positioning without excessive bulk. Protective coverage extends across the forehead, temples, cheeks, ears, and rear of the head, helping to manage contact across key impact areas while preserving the mobility required for defensive movement and close-range exchanges.
