The Ligum Fight Gear Gum Guard Mouth Protector - All MMA and Boxing - Boil and Bite Easy Fit is designed to support oral protection during boxing, MMA, Muay Thai, kickboxing, jiu-jitsu, and other contact-based training environments.

Constructed from mouldable acrylic plastic, this gum guard uses a boil-and-bite fitting system to form around the athlete’s bite profile. This creates a secure, low-profile fit that helps protect the teeth, gums, lips, jaw, and surrounding oral structures during impact.

Correct fit is critical for stable protection. Once moulded, the guard is designed to remain seated during striking exchanges, clinch work, grappling transitions, and sparring rounds without excessive bulk or movement inside the mouth.

Low-profile construction supports breathing efficiency and clearer communication during coached sessions, pad work, partner drills, and live sparring where instruction, timing, and controlled breathing must remain consistent.

Remouldable fitting allows the athlete to refine placement if the first fit is not correct, improving comfort and retention. After use, clean with water and toothpaste, dry properly, and store inside the ventilated carrying case.

Included carry case separates the guard from gym bags, wraps, gloves, and other training equipment, supporting hygienic storage in commercial gym environments.

Fitting Instructions:

1. Boil water.

2. Pour hot water into a mug.

3. Submerge the gum guard for 30–90 seconds.

4. Remove with a utensil and allow it to cool until safe to handle.

5. Position the gum guard in front of a mirror.

6. Bite down firmly and apply even pressure with fingers and tongue.

7. Hold for 30 seconds to allow the guard to conform to the teeth.

8. Carefully remove the gum guard.

9. Run under cold water until fully set.

10. Test fit and repeat if adjustment is required.
